(Amman, Jordan) Tuesday, December 4, 2018 - The Managing Director of Jordan Tourism Board, Dr. Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat, has appointed world-renowned photographer Mr. Muhammed Muheisen, a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winner and a National Geographic photographer as a global ambassador for Jordan Tourism Board.
Dr. Arabiyat pointed to the importance of photography as a tool to promote the country if it’s delivered the right way by the right people; hence, the importance of Muheisen’s work and his efforts to deliver the beauty of Jordan through his eyes.
Meanwhile, Muheisen mentioned the importance of delivering the right image of the Kingdom to the world, adding that it is his duty and responsibility as a Jordanian to present the authentic image of the country to the world through his art. Moreover, he mentioned the efforts and the important role that Jordan Tourism Board plays to promote the country that encompasses all the elements of beauty and authenticity.
Muheisen insisted on the importance of fact-checking and delivering the right image and information of the country, away from rumors that could harm the image of the Kingdom.
World-renowned photographer Muhammed Muheisen has received numerous international awards, he is also considered a global influencer who uses his talent to document stories and spread awareness.
