Based on the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, made on Saturday the 14th of March 2020, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities will be temporarily closing all tourism sites, attractions and museums. This decision was made as a preventative measure to make sure that all sites are sterilized and cleaned in an effort to protect Jordanians and visiting tourists from the transmission of Covid-19 (coronavirus). Tourism sites will reopen in one week.
Sales on the Jordan Pass will also be halted temporarily. For those who have already purchased the Jordan Pass, the pass remains valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used in a future visit to the destination. For refunds please contact: info@jordanpass.jo
It is crucial to note that the decision also includes a suspension of all flights into and out of the Kingdom starting on Tuesday the 17th of March and until further notice. This does not include cargo flights. Land and sea borders will also be closed until further notice not including commercial trucks.
